Developing a Deeper No Barriers Mindset
After I spoke to iCIMS at a virtual event in January, they wanted a way to deepen their connection to the No Barriers Mindset, so I suggested inviting a team out to Colorado to climb some mountains — and we did just that!
iCIMS donated $25,000 to No Barriers USA and ran an internal sales contest for the first half of the year. The lucky winners joined me and my teammate, Skyler, for a grand adventure up Loveland Pass to Cupid (13,117’) and Grizzly Peak (13,433’). It was a fun day for all and we squeaked it in just before winter arrived in full force!
Congratulations to the iCIMS team for their sales success and a great adventure! Keep Climbing!

iCIMS Participants about the Experience
“Wednesday [was] a day I will never forget… Our amazing teammates making their way from Cupid Peak to Grizzly Peak. I think it provides the best perspective of our experience, from our vulnerability as humans making our way in this big world to our accomplishments as a team and as individuals.”
“Growth is hard. I sat [and] watched a little plant pushing through the snow. The pain and determination it takes something to push through the dirt, the rough terrain, the snow to only push through and fight wind… reminded me… growth at any level is hard and painful, but the beauty when it blooms is worth the pain and isn’t just for you… it is admired and enjoyed by everyone around.”
