It’s a dream of every NPR nerd to have the voice of Peter Sagal from Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! on their voicemail, and even luckier to join the show live! So you could imagine my delight when I was asked to be the headliner for the “Not My Job” segment on June 20.

The show taped in front of a live theater audience in Chicago, aired on all 900+ NPR affiliates, and is widely available on every major podcast platform. So if you haven’t already, I hope you share a laugh with me now! Listen to my episode on Spotify, Apple, NPR.org, or wherever you like to get your podcasts.

My segment begins approximately 18 minutes into the full show.

For those unfamiliar, Wait Wait is an hour-long comedy/panel news radio show that airs weekly. On it, panelists and contestants are quizzed in humorous ways about the week’s news.

The “Not My Job” segment, which I joined, consists of a low-stakes chat with the host and ends with a funny multiple-choice quiz, where I was asked silly questions about other people’s jobs. The show has been described as pure joy, and I completely agree. I hope you check it out.

Keep it light and enjoy the show!
