My friend and No Barriers Warriors graduate Pedro Sotelo, exemplifies the No Barriers life element, Elevate - to share the lessons you’ve learned and give back to your community.
Pedro and his No Barriers Warriors team on an expedition in Peru, 2013
Along with his wife, he started HOPE Charities, which provides meals for people in need such as homeless veterans, the elderly, and children – all in his hometown of Kansas City. But when Hurricane Harvey struck in Texas, they quickly shifted gears and set out with a goal of delivering 5k meals to those affected. As of last week they have delivered over 15,000 meals to the Houston Food Bank! I’m personally blown away by the contribution Pedro and his wife are making. They are now working hard on their next campaign for folks in Puerto Rico. Go here to help contribute to Pedro’s mission: www.hopecharitieskc.org
