Blind Skier's Edge

One of Erik's great passions is alpine skiing. However, skiing has traditionally been taught to blind students by guiding from behind. This results in poor technique and limits the blind skier to easy terrain. Erik and his guide,  Jeff Ulrich,  developed the Blind Skier’s Edge, a new system where the guide is in front and gives verbal directions and also an audible direction that help the blind skier to navigate the terrain.  This allows the blind skier to concentrate on better technique and handle more challenging conditions.
