I'm really excited about the launch of the new No Barriers website, logo and tagline today at www.nobarriersusa.org. This marks a major step in our recent merger with Global Explorers and it gives a clear indication of the direction we are heading.
Here’s some insight into how the No Barriers board and staff developed the new look:
Logo Design: We wanted a logo that conveyed possibility, freedom, determination and boldness. The result is a simple, strong and iconic logo symbol.
Web Design: The design of the web site was driven by the desire to convey our message that No Barriers strives to unleash the power of the human spirit. Throughout the site, we use powerful imagery (I'm told) and text as well as a strong graphic style. Yet at the same time, the site is accessible and easily navigated.
Tagline: “What’s within you is stronger than what’s in your way.” We used to ask the question, "What's in your way?" Now we've gone a step further with a tagline that declares our No Barriers mindset simply and effectively. The No Barriers mindset is the realization that we can build the vision, tools and support systems to attack challenges head on, break through them, and create a life rich in fulfillment, purpose and impact.
