Swiss Adventures

Recently I was honored to speak in Geneva to Jaeger LeCoultre, the manufacturer of super high-end watches. How high end? They start at around $10,000 and can go up to $50,000 or more. The company is about to celebrate its 180th anniversary and remains committed to the utmost in quality.

Michael Brown interview on Last Call

Check out this awesome interview of my friend Michael on Carson Daly's Last Call! He explains his motivation for making High Ground, with lots of great clips.

Blind For A Day

I want to give a big shout out to Anna Chouler in Scarborough England. The television show Expedition Impossible is airing on the other side of the pond and she was inspired by Team No Limits. Anna decided to raise awareness for the blind and to raise money for guide dogs by wearing a blindfold for an entire day. Her goal was to raise $800...and she ended up raising almost $1,000! Kayak Training Continues

My first trip to the National Whitewater Center in Charlotte didn’t bode well. In the very first rapid, called Entrance Exam, I flunked when I flipped and ended up taking a long swim. I was completely overwhelmed by the chaos of the river and was on the verge of quitting and going home. But eventually I got back in my boat and kept at it. This fall, I made my third trip to the NWC and things are going swimmingly, which is to say I’m not swimming as often! One of the things that I love about this new sport is that reconnects me with the challenges and joys of the learning process.
