Friday Inspiration - Kyle Maynard

At the No Barriers Summit this summer, I had the pleasure of meeting Kyle Maynard. He is a true inspiration to me and countless others. Why? Because Kyle is a quadruple amputee who hasn't let his birth defect slow him down! In fact, on the spur of the moment and with almost no preparation, we climbed a 12,000-foot peak together...Kyle used towels and packing tapes on his stumps as we crossed sharp rocks, mud, and snowfields.

Vote for Kelly!

There are three days left to vote for the Inspiration Awards for Women. Please vote for my friend Kelly Perkins. She is an incredible woman who received a second chance at life after an unknown virus attacked and destroyed her heart back in 1992 and she received a heart transplant in 1995. And now she has climbed mountains all over the world. Kelly inspires me and truly deserves this honor! http://www.inspirationawards.us/voting/index.php
